Getting Started with the RPGAre you interested in joining our New Horizon Forum Role Playing Game (RPG)? And you're not sure how to get started? Then follow this simple guideline and before you'll know it you'll be playing the RPG along with the rest of us!
Information about New HorizonThe RPG is about New Horizon, which is a new world for humans and Wafans that we have created. If you want to learn more about this world then read the information found on this page: New Horizon as a world has an interesting geography, vey unlike the one found on Earth, and a very rich and unique flora and fauna. For more information about the geography, please read information on the following page: New Horizon has several continents, but for the RPG you only need to know that we'll be mostly playing at a continent named "Youzem", within the region named "Walk of Man", and a city called "Trapper Town":
Creating a new characterFirst you need to register at the forum. Then you'll have to create a new character for yourself in order to use this character in the game. New Horizon has two races you can choose from: Humans and Wafans. Each of these has 3 sub-races, and you have to select one of them for your own character: Here is the info you need for your character creation sheet: This page (above) also contains a "RPG Character Sheet" text file. Open it and fill it out. Additional information about how to fill out the character sheet can be found here: If you have any questions, then please post your questions here and someone will help you out: Once you have filled out your character sheet, post it here for approval: As soon as your character has been approved, make a post here in this thread to let the Game Masters (GMs) know that you are waiting to start a new game: Shortly after, you will be pointed to a new RPG and you can start playing the game!
About the Role Playing GameThe background story for the RPG can be found here: The RPG has a unique battle system that is build into the forum. So the statistics of your character will determine how strong your character is. Weapons and armor will do the same thing. During a battle, the RPG system will calculate your characters power, speed, etc, and you will battle your opponents on even terms. Just like in a real game! |
