Lansdale Ocean

Aquaefauna

Aquaefauna describe any type of animals that live below the water surface, such as the ocean, in rivers or lakes. Any type of fish, or animal that have gills, belong to this category of fauna.

River Pirate

  • Fauna: Aquaefauna.

  • Region: Cain Ocean, Lansdale Ocean, Youzem, Verdura (any areas with suitably large rivers).

Appearance:

River Pirates are dangerous creatures that resemble something that's part alligator and part piranha. They have an alligator's tail but a piranhas head, and they can both swim and crawl up on land using their four small legs. They can move very fast on land, when they need to, and they move even faster swimming. River Pirates cannot breathe air, but they can "hold their breath" for up to an hour or so, but sooner or later they have to return to the water in order to survive. River Pirates normally live in the ocean, but they have been seen in rivers and on the shore of rivers on Youzem and Verdura. In fact, they are first seen climbing out of rivers, attacking people, stealing food or on occasion stealing a family pet animal or a small child. These vile acts are what gave them their name.

Eating habits:

River Pirates eat fish and other creatures living in the sea, but they like to crawl up on land and steel food or attack small animals, even children.

Living environment:

River Pirates live in large groups under the water. They live in the ocean, but some have been seen around the waterbeds in Youzem and Verdura.

Sea Gorgon

  • Fauna: Aquaefauna.

  • Region: Lansdale Ocean.

Appearance:

The Sea Gorgon is a very aggressive, cruel and highly intelligent creature that rules entire areas under the sea. Even though these behemoths are rarely seen, it has been rumored that they can drag entire ships under the water. Sea Gorgons resemble giant squids, but with only 8 or 10 tentacles and they have a face that resembles that of a human. There is a rumor of a Sea Gorgon king that has 11 tentacles (one of which has been torn off).

The body of the Sea Gorgon is between 30 and 50 meters long. Two of the tentacles are between 25 and 40 meters long, while the remaining ones are only half that long. It has a face which is located where the tentacles meet at the lower portion of its body.

Living environment:

Sea Gorgons have their lairs thousands of feet below the ocean. Often in complex caves that include wondrous things. They often imprison humanoid beings in these caves who serve them as slaves without the possibility of escape.

Sea Gorgons love cold water, and they live deep below the Lansdale Ocean.
