How to start the game

To start the mobile phone game you have to:

1. Go to www.audmobile.com and

2. Download the emulator here:

Sun Java Wireless Toolkit for CLDC 2.5.2 for Windows

...and play the game from your PC, or download the game directly into your mobile phone and play it from the phone instead.

(531 kB, the ZIP-file contains a JAR-file and a JAD-file of the game).

4. Once the emulator is installed, double-click on the JAD-file and the game will start. The JAD-file has to be where the JAR-file is. Both files are required.

Story

It is the year 2079 and Earth has lived through a third world war. Only a few million people survived after this catastrophe, when suddenly Earth is attacked by an army of alien battleships from a distant galaxy beyond the observable universe. A race of attobot-creatures called the "Mantles" have concurred one planet after another, from one galaxy to the next.

These Mantles are sentient spirits created from attoscopic machines that need to take over an organic host to survive, and they've been talking over new hosts throughout the universe. On June 12th 2079 they finally reached Earth with their armada of alien battleships.

To protect themselves from annihilation the remaining humans teamed up and sent out their most powerful battleship to protect Earth. This battleship was named SpaceBat.

High-Score

If you play the game and get a really good high-score, then you can upload your SpaceBat high-score to the AUD Mobile webpage. Only the 5 best high-scores are displayed on the webpage though!
