Aquilon

Aquilon, part of the faction Aquilon's Reach, is as large as both the continents USA and Europe on Luna (Earth) combined, spread over an 19 809 527 km² area. It spreads out widely over the north part of the planet, representing a wild terrain that is as cold as it is deadly.

Glacier Run City

Glacier Run City is the true gateway to Aquilon, located in the frozen forest nestled between the mountains, just north of the frozen island forest. Locals are friendly, and the local industry is recreation dominated.

Deep Aquilon

Deep Aquilon, created under the "Aquilon" project, is a city deep beneath Glacier Run City, and in size it's several times larger than its sister above ground. In the warm, geyser fuelled sea under the glacier lies The Great Dome, a giant three layered transparent ceramic shell.

Aquilon is the home to a diverse and dynamic culture, which openly embraces cultural and racial unity between humans and Wafans. The interior of the dome houses several dozen layers of commerce and housing.

Deep Aquilon contains within its walls the Templar Aquilonia Headquarters. While seemingly lightly guarded, this facility is virtually impregnable. Air ducts are all patrolled and even the security guarding the building is composed entirely of elite members of the Alpha and Beta squadron team members.

Deep Aquilon also houses the Templar Aquilonia Undersea Military Docks, which are without a doubt, the most sophisticated and heavily guarded dock facilities on the planet. This is where the vessels of the Aquilonian Navy are built. Some of the most powerful naval vessels in recorded history are built here. Security is tight to say the very least.

Dominating the area of the upper level it occupies, the Brain trust Manor is approximately four city blocks in size, and approximately five stories tall. The manor is made of an experimental substance called Horizon Coral, which grows rapidly on forms and is quite stable.

It houses some impressive learning and experimental facilities and it is considered by many to be one of the most prestigious scientific and learning facilities on the planet.

Aquilonian homes are generally speaking, modestly sized hemisphere shaped buildings typically housing two to four rooms. Larger homes are simply two or more connected hemispheres. Housing is reasonable, but square footage is quite low, due to the confinements of The Great Dome.

Perpetua Glacier

An enigmatic area with an ill reputation for hosting the most unsavoury terrorists not only on the Perpetua Glacier, but also, quite possibly, the world. Here, survival is the order of the day, and it must be paid for in frozen blood.

Snow Waste

The Snow Waste, a barren frozen wasteland surrounding Perpetua Glacier. It is a natural barrier, as its sub-zero temperatures tend to freeze beings that aren’t warm enough to withstand its chilling winds.

This is a place where you find snow in all directions as far as the eye can see. There are the occasional winter trees amongst the barren snow as well as a few oversized boulders. The Snowy Wastes is constantly and routinely visited by snowstorms, a peculiar phenomenon known only to happen in this part of the planet. The ice here never melts even against the radiating sun due to the extreme cold temperature. It is cold enough not to support any wildlife in the area. But that tell that the explorers who keep finding large footprints in the snow.
