Creating a Character

Creating a character is mainly about creating something that you can use and play with during your game. And it doesn't need to be complicated. You'll find information about how to get started with your character creation on the Getting Started page. The most important issues are:

  • Naming your character

  • Selecting a race for your character

  • Selecting the gender of your character (male, female, none)

  • Selecting a faction for your character (you can always select Trapper Town as default, or independent)

After that you need to write down a character description of your created character. How does he/she look like? What cloths does he/she wear? What weapons does he/she use?

The Character Biography, Physical Profile and Psychological Profile are recommended to write, but they are optional.

You are also required to specify the Combat Aptitude Scores for your character. There are 6 of them that you need to set:

  • Body [default at 6]

  • Power [default at 6]

  • Resistance [default at 6]

  • Speed [default at 6]

  • Accuracy [default at 6]

  • Evasion [default at 6]

You have 18 more points that you need to add to the Combat Aptitude Scores, but there are certain rules regarding how that should be done which you must follow. These rules are described on the RPG Information page. If you are unsure how to do it right, then just ask for help at our forum, or simply put the value 9 for all the Combat Aptitude Scores.

The last thing that you need to do is to select one ranged and one melee weapon for your character. You can select weapons from the Weapon List found on the RPG Information page.

All other character information is optional and can be ignored!
